I used this opportunity to try and put an end to something that ruins all my favorite bars every Christmas… SantaCon. Our attempt to shut this alcohol fueled yuletide sleigh ride down was centered around an online video that showed the REAL victims of SantaCon, the children.
What effect does seeing an inebriated Santa have on a fragile young mind? The video was a hit, being written up in AdWeek and featured on Ads of the World. Beyond the video we created a website that had sharable gifs, posters, and a link to our facebook event page. It is still my hope that with continued efforts and support we can put an end to SantaCon in our lifetime.
